Event Technician (Audio Roadcrew: Technikermodell) (m/f/d)
Description

We, TDA Clair GmbH, are a technical service provider (Audio/Light/Video) in the international event industry (concerts/festivals/tours) and are currently looking for an employee (m/f/d) to join our workshop.

Your responsibilities:

  • Interpreting technical drawings and planning documents as the basis for setting up sound
    systems.
  • Independently setting up, commissioning, and maintaining sound systems, including
    microphones, speakers, and wiring at events of varying sizes.
  • Performing basic troubleshooting of audio and wiring issues.
  • Ensuring the smooth functionality of technical equipment during the event.
  • Performing the orderly dismantling of technical infrastructure after the event.
  • Supporting project managers in the planning and implementation of audio systems, including
    providing and coordinating necessary equipment.
  • Give direction to local labor for equipment placement during load-in and load-out.
  • Perform all tasks in the field in compliance with company safety standards.
  • Coutinuous training on new technologies and skills.

Our Expectations:

  • Completed vocational training in event technology or a related field.
  • At least 1-2 years of experience in the field of live event technology is preferred.
  • Strong willingness to learn and the ability to continue training with new technology and
    equipment, in line with the advancement of your skill set.
  • Proficiency in German and English, both written and spoken.
  • Strong technical understanding and the ability to quickly solve problems and improvise
  • High level of service orientation.
  • Willingness to continue learning about the company's structure and the many other
    departments that support our field service efforts.
  • Willingness to travel.
