We are currently seeking an employee (m/f/d) as a Head of Workshop at our Bottrop location.

Your responsibilities:

• Management and organization of the event technology workshop
• Planning, coordination, and monitoring of maintenance, repair, and servicing work on event technology (audio, lighting, video, rigging)
• Communication with manufacturers and external repair service providers
• Preparing shipments for external repairs
• Responsibility for equipment inspections in accordance with DGUV regulations
• Ensuring the operational readiness of all technical equipment
• Ordering and managing spare part inventories
• Training and supervising workshop employees, trainees, and freelance technicians
• Managing quality assurance and safety standards
• Close cooperation with project management and scheduling departments
• Purchasing consumables
• Cooperation and coordination with the logistics department management and warehouse management
• Managing repair orders in our inventory management system
• Maintaining a clean, organized, and safe workshop environment
• Performing necessary repair work

Our expectations:

• Successfully completed vocational training qualifying you to manage a workshop
• Several years of professional experience in a technical field, ideally with leadership responsibilities
• Strong knowledge of lighting, audio, and stage technology as well as relevant safety regulations (DGUV, VDE, etc.)
• Strong organizational skills, assertiveness, and the ability to work in a team
• Sense of responsibility, careful working methods, and technical understanding
• Class B driver’s license is an advantage
• Good English skills (spoken/written)
